报告人简介：

刘璐，博士，香港城市大学生物医学工程系副教授。研究兴趣主要包括非线性系统控制，网络控制系统，及分布式机器人系统与控制。刘璐于2008年获得香港中文大学机械与自动化工程系博士学位，2009至2012年先后任日本东京大学助理教授，英国诺丁汉大学助理教授。在顶级国际期刊及学术会议上发表100余篇学术论文，并以第一/通讯作者身份获得多项重要学术会议最佳论文奖，包括2008年中国控制会议最佳论文奖关肇直奖，2017年亚洲控制会议最佳青年作者奖。2017至2019年连续三次获得香港城市大学杰出博士导师奖；2018年获得香港城市大学校长奖；2020年获得香港城市大学工程学院杰出教学奖，香港城市大学杰出研究奖（青年教师组）。刘璐博士现为IEEE协会高级会员，担任多个国际学术期刊编委，包括IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, Control Theory and Technology, 以及 Unmanned Systems。

报告简介：

In this talk, how to write a quality technical paper will be introduced. First, a brief introduction to the basic structure of high-quality scientific papers will be presented, and the importance of systematic and standardized scientific papers will be explained. Then, the context of how to write a high-quality scientific paper, including Abstract, Introduction, Problem Statement, Main Results, Examples, Conclusions, and Future Directions, will be elaborated sequentially. Finally, the importance of a paper’s core contributions will be emphasized.
